Giveaway and Book Review ~ Feather and Flame by Livia Blackburne

If you mess up with Mulan, then I’m pretty sure people will go for blood. But Livia Blackburne was up to the task. Feather and Flame has all the magic from the movie and does justice to her character.

The Impoverished Dowry by Emily E. K. Murdoch

I picked out The Impoverished Dowry because I love romance novels and this one had a terrific cover! It’s acknowledged in the book that Coral’s gowns are old-fashioned, but when they look that good who cares? This is a take on the historical fiction genre where we have a woman, Opal, who functions as the head of the family, and not just because her husband isn’t there, but because that’s their family tradition.

Hell Followed with Us by Andrew Joseph White

Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White is one of those books that lives up to all it’s hype! I was lucky enough to be approved via NetGalley, but I also joined the TBR and Beyond Tour!

To Drown as a Cure for Thirst by Blake Auden

Long story short; I loved this book, and its going into my top reads of 2022 shelf! I’m also going to have to check out the rest of Blake Audens books! This felt like a well thought out collection, with all the poems consistently good!
