BBNYA Semi-Finalist Spotlight Tour ~ Blood of Heirs by Alicia Wanstall-Burke

BBNYA Semi-Finalist Spotlight Tour

This is my first year on the BBNYA Panel and I’m so excited to also be part of the Semi-Finalist Spotlight Tour!

Even though you’ve probably seen all our posts on joining the Panel, you haven’t seen much else! That’s because we don’t want to tell anyone which books we’re reading and how we liked them! We do that to keep things fair because it’s interesting to see how many authors we interact with online, especially on twitter and instagram and we wanted to be as fair and unbiased as possible!

However, for the next few weeks you’ll see a lot of BBNYA Panelist posts! This is because instead of just touring our finalists, we’ll be celebrating the 55 books that made it into Round Two with a mini spotlight blitz tour for each title.

A Bit About BBNYA

BBNYA is a yearly competition where book bloggers from all over the world read and score books written by indie authors, ending with 15 finalists and one overall winner.

If you want some more information about BBNYA, check out the BBNYA Website or take a peek over on Twitter @BBNYA_Official. BBNYA is brought to you in association with the @Foliosociety and the book blogger support group @The_WriteReads.

Blurb:

How far would you go into the darkness to reclaim what you have lost?

Lidan Tolak is the fiercest of her father’s daughters; more than capable of one day leading her clan. But caught between her warring parents, Lidan’s world begins to unravel when another of her father’s wives falls pregnant. Before she has time to consider the threat of a brother, a bloody swathe is cut through the heart of the clan and Lidan must fight, not only to prove her worth, but simply to survive.

Ranoth Olseta wants nothing more than to be a worthy successor to his father’s throne. When his home is attacked by the aggressive Woaden Empire, Ran becomes his city’s saviour, but powers within him are revealed and he is condemned to death. Confused and betrayed, Ran is forced to flee his homeland, vowing to reclaim what he has lost, even if it kills him.

Facing an unknown future, and battling forces both familiar and foreign, can Lidan and Ran overcome the odds threatening to drag them into inescapable darkness?

Stunning dark epic fantasy spanning Bronze Age tribal conflict, Iron Age military conquest and the Australian bush. Perfect for fans of Robin Hobb, Devin Madson and Mark Lawrence.
