Thank you @lovebooktours for the chance to read The Love Fragments by Eleni Cay! This book came out on the 12th of December (2021) and was published by Westbury Arts Centre. It is available on Barnes & Noble and Amazon as an Ebook and paperback!

Review
The Love Fragments talks about some really important things. Mark may have been a big support to Katie while she was battling the worse of her MS, but the man we see in this book is selfish, lazy, and unpleasant. Does she stay with him now, as she watches her parents marriage fail, or does she move on the way her friend Jackie encourages her to do.
Her friends are also certainly characters. They range from the influencer Jackie to the academic Lana. Katie is awful to Jackie. She comes off as super holier than thou, with the whole this is not meaningful thing. I also absolutely despised Lana, because like do you not have any emotional intelligence? I mean, thats a lot like most academics, but really some emotional intelligence would have been nice.
Ultimately, I won’t be completing this book anytime soon! The 30% I read was interesting, but given that I really disliked the characters, and I think it needed a bit of an edit. The book has a lot of potential, but certain quotes like the one below put me off:
‘Oh, I love to see your little apricots jumping!’ Mark cupped my naked breasts.

While ultimately, the book wasn’t my cup of tea, and I won’t be finishing it. While something may not be for me, it can be something really great to others!
